About two months ago, I visted my friend with my brother to help set up his home theater. He previously had a 35 inch Trinitron SD television and a KLH speaker system with a 8900 Sherwood receiver that worked quite well. In its place went a 40 inch Proscan LCD 1080P high-def tv with a Panasonic upconverting receiver with wireless back speakers. The 40 inch Proscan worked very well, particulaly with the dvd player giving razor sharp performance with the upconverted 1080p dvd picture. The sound quality of the receiver IMHO left a lot to be desired. Due to WAF, he could not but a larger set of which in this particular space, something in the range of 55 inches was needed, however, he had to make do and he is satisfied with his purchases. THESE PICS WERE TAKEN AUG 9, 2009.
