HD-DVD- FUNERAL OF THE YEAR

And so it does. Seems nobody learned from the VHS-BETA thingy in the past. Great I have not been feeling and as such have really have not been able to see both the blue ray and hd-dvd formats play first hand but two cannot exist. Well, not if studios do not support both and on the same token if manufacuters are not going to manufacturer two players which they will not although two chose to make a combi player at a high price which I do not think people would want to own just to play one type of disc over the other that could virtually render the same video and audio quality. What Blue-Ray should now be doing is to produce discs and players that play all discs without hang-ups and that can out-put all forms of the new high definition audio codecs out of the hdmi outputs that will handshake properly to receivers that can properly decode the codecs, PERIOD. How about adding back a coaxial digital audio output as well to players for those people who just are satisfied to use their old receivers using their coaxial outputs and are satisfed with their lossless codecs 5.1 audio. GEEEEESHHHH...............
